Pranay Gupta
Software Engineer, currently at Keysight Technologies.
Hey, I'm Pranay. I build software that doesn't make people want to throw their laptop out the window.
Right now I'm at Keysight Technologies, where I build internal developer platforms and AI-powered automation systems. I designed an MCP server ecosystem that integrates multiple internal services through a unified API layer and chat-based interface — complete with token tracking, session management, and interaction analytics. I also built agentic AI workflows using Django and LLM orchestration to automate order acceptance, customer support, and sales order processing across teams.
On the AI tooling side, I've built internal developer tools using Retrieval-Augmented Generation to power documentation search, Jira issue analysis, and automated test generation. I also set up a full observability stack with Grafana, Prometheus, and Tempo — because you can't fix what you can't see.
Before this, I was at ProPeers, where I built and scaled their platform using Next.js for 300K+ daily active users and made APIs respond 35x faster with a Redis caching layer. I also built an AI-powered roadmap generation feature that dynamically recommends learning paths based on user goals — and automated deployments with shell scripts on AWS Linux, because clicking buttons in a dashboard felt wrong.
On the side, I build things that scratch my own itch. Like Khaata, a trading journal for Indian retail traders with FIFO trade matching and P&L analytics. Or Planning Poker, a real-time estimation tool for agile teams. And ClickDown, a multi-tenant SaaS task manager — basically what happens when you use too many project management tools and decide to build your own.
If you want to chat about engineering, side projects, or why performance matters more than people think, I'm on X and GitHub. Or just send me an email. I promise I'm less formal than this website suggests.
